Charlotte Garratt:
Advanced Trainee Integrative Therapist & Coach (BACP student member)
My name is Charlotte Garratt and I am an advanced trainee integrative therapist and coach working with adults and young people at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston, Hackney, E8.
I will work collaboratively and compassionately with you to explore whatever difficulties have brought you to counselling or whatever goals you want to achieve through coaching.
Many people find themselves stuck in patterns they can’t quite manage to change, whether that’s in relationships, with addictions to substances or with unhelpful behaviours.
Counselling can help you to find the roots of your issues and work to create new ways of being and doing that allow you to fulfil your potential.
You may want to feel more confident, calmer, and more satisfied with your life or you may want support to make changes you know will enhance your wellbeing.
You may be in pain, having relationship issues, be struggling with your identity, finding life overwhelming or need space to evaluate your life so far and discuss meaning.
I believe that everyone has the capacity to look inside with non-judgemental support, to change where they want to and that the counselling space facilitates that through exploration, intervention and compassionate challenge in a warm and life-enhancing experience.
I have worked with adults in NHS mental health settings, with Mind, in schools, in the City, private sector and in international development globally. I have lived in London, California and the rainforests of Peru and I take a cross-cultural perspective on mental health and happiness which I believe enhances my practice.
How we can work together:
Every person is unique and as an integrative practitioner I draw on the modalities I think will work for you in our sessions.
No two people are ever the same and I reflect this in how I combine and work from different types of therapy modalities including Existential, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt, Psychodynamic theory, Transpersonal and Solution Focused Therapy and others.
I can draw on my Coaching training and experience when you are ready to look forward to your goals.
Sometimes you may want to focus on the past, other times you may be ready to build towards the future and so I work collaboratively with you in our safe space to enable you to use it effectively.
My Sessions and Fees:
Our sessions will be 50 minutes long and can be face to face, online or on the telephone. You can select a regular weekly slot or we can keep a degree of flexibility.
I encourage you to contact me for an initial free 20-minute discussion to see how we can work together.
Our sessions after this are £65 with a reduced rate of £40 for those eligible. I can offer open-ended as well as short-term sessions depending on your needs and circumstances.
