Francis Bavetta:
Trainee Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor (BACP student member)
Hello. My name is Francis Bavetta and I am a trainee humanistic and integrative counsellor working in the low-cost therapy and counselling service at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston, Hackney, London E8.
Entering into Therapy can be a difficult decision to make and can be daunting for some.
Working in a person-centered way, my focus will be on creating a strong relationship with clients and creating a safe space for them to explore any issues they may be experiencing.
I believe that we as individuals, are the experts on our own lives and the role of the therapist is to empower rather than to fix or advise. I will support you on a journey of increased self-awareness.
Approach:
I am currently completing a Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling at CPPD in Hornsey. My training draws on principles of Gestalt, Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis and CBT.
Whilst the work I do is built on a strong foundation of person-centred theory, I will use elements of these types of therapy modalities when appropriate to facilitate the client’s work in the best possible way.
I have previously completed a Level 3 Certificate in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy at Salford University.
I am an insured student member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
