Georgina Daunt:
Counsellor and Psychotherapist (BACP/UKCP)
My name is Georgina Daunt and I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston, Hackney, London E8.
I am currently seeing clients face to face and online (Zoom, Skype, etc).
You may be considering counselling and psychotherapy for a number of reasons: a specific issue, a traumatic event, difficult memories or a more general sense that things aren’t right.
My aim is to provide a confidential, non-judgemental, relational space to explore what you wish to bring and to help you find a way forward.
In addition to my private practice, I have extensive experience working in the third sector. This includes specialised pregnancy loss support (post-miscarriage and post-abortion), and as a counsellor in Holloway Prison.
These experiences have given me the chance to work with a huge diversity of clients, facing a large variety of challenges.
I have continually been encouraged by the change my clients have experienced in their lives through therapy: predominantly through healthier relationships with themselves and others.
Areas of speciality:
- Anxiety and Depression
- PSTD (post-traumatic stress disorder)
- Childhood trauma
- Pregnancy Loss
- Self-Esteem
- Relationship Issues
As a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), I abide by their code of ethics, which includes regular supervision of my work and ongoing professional development.
