To keep costs down, most people use a system that combines tannin specific resin with standard softening resin. These combo systems provide all the benefits of a tannin filter with the softening ability of a water softener. The lower cost of softening resin also provides a lower price than the tannin only systems. Controlled by the low cost Fleck 5600, this system provides durability and efficiency in an economical package. The 5600 control head is metered, meaning it measures the amount of water used and regenerates only as needed!

• Complete System - 10-inchx54-inch resin tank, Riser tube with distributor basket, 1.5 cubic feet total resin, Digital Fleck 5600SXT Metered Control Head, Bypass and 1" yoke connection, Standard Brine Tank with Safety Float. On-Demand - Flow meter measures water and regenerates based on water use, not time, conserving salt and water.
• 3 ppm Tannins - Contains 0.5 cubic foot of tannin specific resin capable of removing up to 3 ppm of tannins. Contact us if you have higher than 3 ppm tannin. 32,000 grain Hardness - Contains 1.0 cubic foot high capacity softening resin capable of removing 32,000 grains of hardness between regeneration cycles.
• 10 GPM Service Flow - Treats a maximum flow rate of 10 gallons per minute. Clears Murky Water - While tannins are not harmful, they are not aesthetically pleasing and can range from a light yellow color to a dark tea color. Removes Water Hardness -Ion exchange process physically removes the ions that cause hard water.
• Digital Fleck 5600SXT Control Head - The digital head provides a more user-friendly system with a LCD display, push-button operation, and additional programming options. Additionally, the digital head allows for more efficient operation than the standard mechanical head.
