The Bulldog Hardware Lag Screw, also commonly known as a lag bolt, is one of the toughest fasteners around. The large screw with a hex head is used for wood construction and landscaping. This extremely sturdy fastener is usually used to connect heavy lumber or other heavy materials that are bearing an intense load. The 1/4-inch x 3-inch lag screw is constructed of zinc plated steel which is a low carbon steel for general use. The zinc plating provides a resistance to corrosion for lasting strength and durability. Tighten screw with a 7/16-inch wrench. May be used in masonry applications when used with a lag shield. Package contains 3 lag screws.
