This kit includes the replacement UV lamp bulb and accompanying quartz sleeve for the obsolete VIQUA SPV-740, SPV-15, SP740-HO, SC-740 and SCM-740 Series UV systems. The UV lamp should be replaced every 12 months to maintain proper system efficacy, but the sleeve can be replaced every 24 months or as needed. Mineral build-up on sleeve can hinder the lamp's effectiveness, so we suggest wiping it down occasionally.
