The KW4519-HF-S commercial ice machine water filter cartridge is an affordable alternative to 3M Aqua-Pure model HF95-S. This filter is designed to fit into the 3M ICE195-S filtration system. It will remove sediment, transform hardness scale, dechlorinate and purify the water. Thus, the ice will be crystal clear and taste great. The polyphosphate ingredient sequesters the calcium and magnesium ions so the ice machine is protected against the destructive impact of abrasive hardness scale. It is important to change the filter cartridge every 6 months to avoid expensive maintenance repairs and ice machine "down time".
