The brand new version of the Ranger Series, the Leofoto LS-324CX Carbon Fiber Tripod improves upon the classic Leofoto Ranger Series tripods with the latest technology. This model features angle stops have also been improved to be more ergonomic. This new angle stop design allows for one handed operation for convenience. The Ranger Series has always been known for it's simplicity and compact size and weight.Leofoto tripods feature light weight carbon fiber tubes to reduce weight while maintaining a high load capacity. The T6-6061 grade aluminum hardware is CNC machined and hard anodized, creating a durable and scratch resistant setup. The standard twist leg lock system can be quickly deployed with a quarter turn. With the tripod's variable leg angle positions, the tripod can be completely spread out, so the support can drop to a very low minimum height.The included Leofoto DC-282C Carbon Fiber Add-On Column is an adjustable, two-section center column extension for tripods and monopods. Made up of two lightweight yet durable 10-layer carbon fiber, the DC-282C adds from 7.8 to 12.5'' in height and is suitable for use with supports that have a load capacity of up to 35.2 lb. The column base has a diameter of 1.5'' and an integrated 3/8''-16 threaded socket, and the top platform features a spring-loaded 3/8''-16 threaded tip that can be slid down to reveal a 1/4''-20 threaded tip, making it compatible with virtually any tripod head.
