Thuja occidentalis Fire Chief®: Nearly perfectly globe shaped evergreen has finely textured, bright golden spring foliage. Very slow growing variety with fantastic autumn colors of deep red. This selection is a worthy choice for a rock garden, as a specimen or as an accent plant. It requires little maintenance. Grow Tips: Plant in well-drained, organically enriched soil. Feed in spring with organic fertilizer according to package directions. No pruning is necessary to maintain the compact, rounded form. This plant is grown on our nursery by experienced growers.
