The Precision Twist C29R40 short length drill bit set contains 29 high-speed steel drill bits, including inch sizes 1/16" through 1/2" in 1/64" increments, with an uncoated (bright) finish and a 118-degree conventional point and provides increased rigidity in heavy feed-rate drilling applications on a variety of materials, especially soft metals. High-speed steel (HSS) provides hardness for wear resistance, and the uncoated (bright) finish provides an untreated surface. These short length drill bits have a drilling depth of up to 2.5 times their diameter. The round shank accommodates most drill chucks. The set comes in a metal index case with labeled compartments for identification and organization.
