The C170P is a powered version of the C170, which is based on the already popular C110, C120 and C130, which have a complete list of features that make them an extremely good value for fixed installations. The C170P, is a compact 100 watt powered loudspeaker enclosure made from ABS plastic with an 8-inch driver and 1-inch Mylar tweeter, and features 1/4" input and output connectors for maximum versatility. The trapezoidal shape makes the C170P ideal for install or array mounting in tight locations. Shipped with a rugged proprietary U-bracket for wall or ceiling mounting, they are a very versatile and cost-effective solution where superior sonic quality is required for small installations, or as a repeater or fill cabinet in larger venues. An optional polemount adapter (C170ADAPT) is also available for applications where placing the C170P on a speaker stand is required. Exclusive features to the C170P include a 1/4" input and auxiliary out, controls for Gain, Volume and Tone, with a switchable mic/line input sensitivity, and a power switch.
