Psychotherapist & Coach (MBACP)
My name is Pascal Jourzac and I am a fully qualified psychotherapist and coach working at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston, Hackney, London E8. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I work within a therapeutic model called Personal Consultancy.
This is a framework that employs coaching skills to help you sustain change in the future, as well as psychotherapy approaches to help you with current and past challenges.
You come to therapy to get support during challenging times or because you have a persistent feeling that things simply aren’t improving.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore those feelings, by establishing an empathetic therapeutic relationship.
This helps me to understand how you are experiencing things.
I can then support you in gaining valuable insight into why you feel the way you do as a unique individual, before supporting you to bring about change.
Once you feel more balanced in your life, we can start using future-focused techniques to help you make sustained long-term changes in your life.
Your experiences are unique to you and so I will focus on you as an individual during therapy. However, I do have particular experience with the following presenting issues:
- Low self-esteem and confidence
- Personal development
- Work-related anxiety
Before coming into counselling, I worked for 22 years in education. Working with young people and adults in an increasingly challenging environment, convinced me that supporting people’s mental wellbeing was the most important development needed in public health.
As my approach to counselling is integrative, we can work in the way that best suits you as an individual. To best support you during these unprecedented times, I have completed university training on best practices for working online and over the phone.
I am available to work online, over the phone or face-to-face. I charge £65 for face-to-face sessions and £65 online.
