Claudia Cohen (MBACP):
Integrative Counsellor & Therapist
My name is Claudia Cohen. I am an experienced, qualified, integrative counsellor and therapist working at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston, London E8.
People consider therapy for many reasons: a specific issue, a distressing event, difficult thoughts, memories, or feelings, or sometimes just a general sense that things don’t feel right. I am experienced working with a people facing a wide range of difficulties, including:
- stress, anxiety and panic attacks, trauma, abuse, depression, low self-worth, the impact of discrimination and prejudice, intrusive thoughts, childhood abuse, issues with identity, self-harm, work-related stress, and relationship and family difficulties.
Whatever the reason, my aim is to provide a confidential, non-judgemental, relational space to explore whatever you want to bring, and support you in finding new ways forward.
I trained at The Minster Centre, one of Europe’s leading training institutes for Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.
In addition to private practice, I’ve worked in well-respected therapy services with a diversity of clients facing a wide range of issues. These have included people struggling with severe and enduring psychological and emotional distress, and the impact of living with psychiatric diagnoses.
In the past, I’ve also worked in a non-therapeutic, front-line capacity with people struggling with homelessness, as well as individuals facing destitution as asylum seekers in the UK.
I am a registered member of BACP and adhere to their ethical principles.
