Integrative Counselling and Therapy MBACP, MBPsS
My name is Rob Scaife and I am a qualified integrative therapist and a registered member of the British Association for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BACP), working with clients in private London practice at HQ Therapy in Dalston and Haggerston , Hackney, E8.
I provide a warm and non-judgmental therapeutic environment, helping you feel safe and supported to explore whatever it may be that you are experiencing in your life. As an integrative therapist I draw upon a number of different approaches to psychotherapy depending on your needs, including psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and humanistic (person centred) approaches.
Training, qualifications and experience
I have trained extensively in psychology and psychotherapy for over 9-years. I hold professional registration with The British Psychological Society as a graduate member (Counselling Psychology Division) and I am a registered member of the British Association for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BACP). I am currently completing the final year of a 5-year Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute in West London.
Alongside working in private practice, my recent experience includes an Honorary Psychotherapist role at Homerton University Hospital, Hackney in 2017 and ongoing one-to-one and group counselling with survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire since September 2017. I also work for a charity in Islington as a supervisor and counsellor, and from June 2018 as an Honorary Psychologist at West London Mental Health NHS Trust, providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to adults with eating disorders.
