Bianca Le Conte:
Trainee Integrative Psychotherapist (BACP student member)
My name is Bianca Le Conte, and I am a trainee therapist working in the low-cost therapy and counselling service at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston, Hackney, London E8.
I believe starting therapy can be daunting and take courage, with that in mind I offer a space where you can be who you want to be, where you don’t feel that you need to censor, a completely nonjudgmental and warm space where you can explore anything, at a pace that suits you.
A space where you feel supported, safe, accepted and heard.
I see the therapist-client relationship as a collaborative space, I believe in giving you the space to feel comfortable and engage in the sessions in the directions that feel most important to you.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirmative and enjoy working with clients from all backgrounds and cultures.
I pride myself on continually educating myself on issues of difference and diversity, and actively engage in many additional groups and events away from my training to enhance my knowledge.
I have explored many different areas including Polyamory, non-binary, LGBTQIA+, BAME, Care leavers and adopted adults, amongst others.
My approach:
- As a trainee integrative therapist, I use a combination of modality approaches; person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT therapies.
- I believe that tailoring my approach to everyone is invaluable, and I draw from my experiences in each approach to customise an approach that will meet your needs.
Experience and qualifications:
- I hold a level 2 CPCAB in Counselling skills, and an NCFC CACHE level 3 in Counselling skills and theory, which I attained at Kingston College.
- I am currently studying for a BSc in counselling at the University of East London, I am available here as part of my clinical placement on this course.
- I am fully insured, DBS checked and a registered student member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
- Prior to training as a psychotherapist, I worked with children and young adults with high levels of disabilities. I’ve also worked in dementia care, supporting not only the people I have worked with but also their families.
How it works:
- Before we start working together, I offer a 15-minute phone or Zoom meeting, this initial meeting would give us an opportunity to explore in greater detail what brings you to therapy, your hopes and crucially to get a sense of how it is to work together.
- If you decide you would like to continue, we would agree on a time for a regular weekly 50-minute session.
- As a trainee counsellor, I am part of the low-cost therapy scheme, with rates starting from £15 per session.
- I work face-to-face and look forward to meeting you.
