Francesca Giustetti Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist (MBACP), Coach, Holistic TherapistFrancesca Giustetti:

Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist (MBACP), Coach & Holistic Therapist

Hi, my name is Francesca Giustetti.

In the last ten years, I have been gaining a vast range of experience working within primary and secondary care, and charities. I worked as Occupational Therapist Assistant within NHS supporting patients with severe mental health challenges.

Subsequently, I was a Domestic Violence Advocate providing emotional and practical support to victims of domestic violence. Lately, I worked within the NHS as a Health and Wellbeing Coach helping clients achieve meaningful goals that led them to a happier and healthier life.

I am now an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, Life Coach, Reiki Practitioner, and Mindfulness & Breathwork Facilitator for 1:1 and groups.

I offer a warm and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe and deeply connect with your vulnerable self.

When this connection is made, it can bring us to a profound self-discovery where the most intimate emotions, thoughts, memories, and wounds can arise and be processed. I believe therapy is a space where you can remove the different ‘masks’ you wear during your day-to-day life and give space to whatever is behind them.

I will support you in exploring your thoughts, beliefs, views, and feelings which will lead to more self-awareness, understanding, and compassion. I truly believe we all have the answers we seek and being in a supported and safe space we will allow them to arise.

In my sessions, I work in a personal-centred way where values such as empathy, non-judgment, and authenticity are at the forefront. Since I am an Integrative, I draw on a range of approaches according to what seems to fit you, your challenge, and your stage of life. I use tools from CBT, Psychodynamic, Coaching, and Mindfulness.

I strongly believe in the power of the mind-body connection, and I use somatic tools which I draw from Mindfulness and Breathwork training (qualified), and Embodied psychotherapy (in training towards qualification). Somatic psychotherapy is about accessing and using information from your body and your nervous system to increase your self-awareness. All emotions and thoughts have a body connection, and in therapy, we learn to discover what that connection is about.

If you prefer a forward-looking approach maybe coaching is what you are looking for. During our session/s, we explore what is meaningful for you at this time of your life and get more clarity on your goal/s and purpose.

We explore and unpack what is holding you back and challenge some of these beliefs that are limiting you. We get to the root of the issue and discover better strategies for moving forwards. Every session we set some action steps until we will get closer and closer to your goal/s.

The path towards your desires might seem overwhelming at the beginning or be full of obstacles but we will work as a team to find the best strategies to overcome those. I will support you to build the future you truly want.

My approach is holistic, therefore I include in the process your body, mind, and energy. I offer energetic healing such as REIKI. Also, Breathwork and Mindfulness can be part of counselling and coaching or taken as individual therapy. See my website for further information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Should I Seek Therapy?

Many people, new to this type of help, believe that they need to be suffering from “mental illness” or serious “psychological problems”, or be in crisis in order for therapy and counselling to be appropriate for them. This is a common misconception; anyone can benefit from therapy when it comes to helping you deal with your personal feelings and problems, make positive changes in your life, and understand yourself better.

So what is therapy and counselling? If you’re new to this world then the first steps can sometimes be the most difficult. Therapy can be a very effective treatment for a whole range of personal problems covering areas from physical and emotional problems, different types of behavioural disorders, through to human sexuality issues and a host of wellbeing and complementary therapy techniques.

Any problem you have that is causing you concern, anxiety or distress is a valid and appropriate reason to reach out and find a therapist and talk to them about it. Far from something to be ashamed of, acknowledging your vulnerability and asking for help is a sign of maturity and strength.

If you feel that you have a desire and are committed to making changes in your life in order to overcome your current problems and achieve more long-term satisfaction, psychological wellbeing and personal fulfilment, then you are ready to seek therapy. We are here to help you work through a wide range of therapy issues that might be troubling you.

Will Information About Me Be Safe & Secure?

It is quite normal to be hesitant when it comes to sharing private and intimate information about yourself with a stranger. You may fear that you will receive judgment from your therapist, or that your therapist will share your details with others.

HQ Therapy Rooms takes your privacy and confidentiality very seriously. Our therapists are required to keep everything said in therapy sessions between you, just like your doctor is required to keep your records private.

For therapy to be effective, there must be unconditional trust built between you and your therapist, and this relies on a shared understanding of confidentiality. It applies to the outside world as well: it is standard practice for therapists not to acknowledge their clients if they run into them outside of the therapy rooms in order to help protect their client’s confidentiality. Read our full privacy policy for more information.

Can I Contact You For Advice About Getting Therapy?

It feels good to be listened to and to know that someone cares about you and wants to help. It is important that you find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and can build a trusting relationship to help you make positive changes in your life.
