Izzy Way:
Humanistic Psychotherapist (BACP)
Welcome. I’m Izzy, a humanistic psychotherapist who believes lasting change starts when you feel truly understood.
There are many reasons why you might be seeking therapy. You may be feeling uneasy, disconnected, sad, anxious, or angry. Perhaps you’re going through a major life transition or are struggling to make a change. Maybe you feel lost, or have an “off” feeling you can’t quite name.
In therapy with me, you’ll find a calm, confidential space where you can speak freely without fear of judgement, and we can explore what’s happening – your feelings, thoughts and beliefs – together.
I can help you untangle the patterns that keep you stuck, so you can deepen self-awareness, explore new ways of being, and create a life that feels authentic to you.
How I work:
I am a client-led and collaborative therapist. I believe you are the expert in your story, and my role is to walk beside you, offering curiosity and compassion. I will adapt each session to what you bring – working in the here and now – always led by you and your goals. We’ll have regular check-ins on our work together, and if something doesn’t feel right, we’ll adjust.
I work with a range of different tools and techniques from the Humanistic modalities, including Person-Centred, Gestalt, Formative Psychology, Transactional Analysis and Art Therapy. I work with individuals for both short-term and open-ended therapy. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirmative, and I welcome all genders and sexualities.
Fees:
Sessions with me cost £80, and last for 50 minutes.
I offer some concession/low-cost places, which are reviewed regularly. Please email me for more information.
Getting Started:
Choosing the right therapist is important, so I invite you to an initial session to see if we’re a good fit. Our first session will be an opportunity for you to share what has brought you to therapy, get to know each other, and explore how we might work together.
You can get in touch with me via my email below.
