I am a psychotherapist specialising in working with trauma and complex trauma.
My passion is helping people who feel stuck, unsatisfied, or disempowered in their life regain a sense of hope, meaning, hope, and empowerment again.
My training includes a Master’s in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy (4 years), Body-Centred Humanistic Counselling (3 years), Somatic Experiencing (3+ years), and Deep Brain Reorienting (2 years).
Additionally, I have trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (level 1), Relational Trauma Therapy (level 2), TIST (Level 1) and have been trained directly by Janina Fisher, Dick Schwartz (IFS), Deb Dana, Steven Porges, Linda Thai, Daniel Siegel, and Carolyn Spring.
In the last 10 years, I have been working in world-renowned residential settings for trauma recovery, in the charity sector (addiction & families services) and in residential and outpatient NHS services (acute mental health, early intervention for psychosis, Alzheimer’s, and mental health).
My clinical experience includes working with: PTSD, CPTSD, BPD, stress, burnout, chronic pain and fatigue, depression, shame, anger management, anxiety and anxiety disorders, dissociation and dissociative disorders, narcissistic abuse, codependence, cultic and spiritual abuse, racial and gender abuse, sexuality, relational and intimacy difficulties, addictions, psychosis, self-harming and suicidality.
The way in which I work is collaborative, relational, and educational. Ultimately, what I care about is empowering my clients with self-awareness, knowledge and skills so that they can take the reins of their life back in their hands and lead the satisfying life they deserve.
