Louise Perry
Integrative Arts Psychotherapist (HCPC, BACP)
Hello, my name is Louise Perry and I am an Integrative Art Psychotherapist who works with adults.
I am currently available to work online with clients across the UK, and in-person with clients in London – including at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston, Hackney, E8.
I have an MA in Integrative Art Psychotherapy from the Institute For Arts in Therapy & Education (IATE) as well as an MA in Communication Design from St. Martins.
I also have a long career history of working within the high pressured design and technology industry.
My life and therapeutic experience include 22 years of 12-step recovery and four years working in a Harley Street addiction treatment centre that focuses on all forms of addiction and various NHS and community settings.
You do not need to be good at art to work with me and get the benefits of art therapy. In my sessions, I offer the art as tools to help explore and unravel your unconscious thoughts and feelings.
The work can sometimes be challenging but together we will find creative ways to explore YOU and the self-limiting feelings and behaviours that may be detrimental to your happiness.
My own journey has taken me from patient to therapist and this allows me to deeply empathise having experienced and worked through my own issues.
I know what it’s like to feel lost, confused, sad, misunderstood and the desperation that these feelings can bring. I believe that everybody makes sense when you understand their background and that where we come from does not have to define who we are in the world today.
Recovery and freedom from negative thoughts and behaviours are possible – I am living proof of that.
I am available to work online or in person and you can contact me to arrange a free assessment using my email address [email protected], through my website www.louiseperry.com, or use the form on the HQ website (below).
I have a sliding scale of fees depending on your financial obligations which we can discuss during the initial assessment.
