Ortensia Terzi:
Trainee therapist (UKPC trainee therapist)
My name is Ortensia Terzi, and I’m currently a trainee therapist at HQ Therapy Rooms, in Haggerston and Dalston, Hackney, London E8, where I’m a part of the low-cost therapy and counseling service.
My journey into psychotherapy began when I embarked on individual psychotherapy during a challenging period in my life.
This personal experience was transformative and motivated me to make significant changes, ultimately leading me to pursue a Diploma and an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy (TA) to become a therapist myself.
As a Transactional Analyst (TA) trainee psychotherapist, my approach focuses on the present while also guiding clients to explore how their past may have influenced their perspectives.
My relational TA training underscores the importance of self-expression and the client-therapist relationship, which is built on trust, collaboration, and genuine listening.
I’m dedicated to providing a safe and confidential space for clients to explore their own stories without judgment. Together, we can identify the options that will empower you to progress in your future and enhance your physical and mental well-being.
While therapy isn’t always easy, it requires courage and commitment, and the potential rewards are life-changing and enduring.
I’m also a trainee therapist member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Currently, I offer face-to-face sessions and can conduct initial consultations online.
My practice encompasses a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, trauma, and grief.
About me:
Before embarking on a career as a counselor, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Law and a master’s degree in Human Resource Management. My professional background includes experience in the recruitment and retail sectors.
As a dual Italian-British national who grew up in Italy and moved to the UK in 2014, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work. Speaking multiple languages has enriched my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and develop a deeper understanding of diversity and inclusion.
I offer a free initial assessment session to provide an opportunity for us to meet and discuss how therapy can benefit you. It’s also a chance to ensure that you feel comfortable working with me.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you!”
