Suzi Green:
Integrative Psychotherapist (BACP)
My name is Suzi Green, and I’m a Psychotherapist dedicated to supporting you in making positive change. My approach is grounded in warmth, sensitivity and shared awareness, and I am committed to meeting you wherever you are right now.
Reaching out for support is an important step, whether you are new to therapy, returning after a break, or exploring a new direction.
There is something special that happens in a therapeutic alliance. It’s an opportunity to explore who you are and what may no longer serve you, in safety, confidentiality and without judgment.
Our sessions create a collaborative space where you can reconnect with your own sense of agency, trusting that the insights you seek already exist within you, even if they feel hard to reach right now.
As an integrative therapist, I offer a whole-person approach, unique to your emotional and relational needs and at your pace.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, work challenges, a break-up, loss, or a sense of disconnection or not belonging, our work can help you develop resources that extend beyond our sessions, building resilience and self-compassion to navigate life’s twists and turns.
I have experience with clients from many backgrounds, genders, religions and sexual orientations, and I welcome unconventional lifestyles, including unusual work patterns and long periods away from home. These pressures can be destabilising, intensifying feelings of isolation and undermining mental health, but you do not have to manage them alone.
Where helpful, I work holistically, drawing on naturopathy, nutrition, yoga and mindfulness to support a deeper connection between body and mind. Some clients find that exploring where the body holds feelings is especially supportive when emotions are difficult to articulate. A gentle curiosity can help make sense of complex emotions that may come up.
For over two decades, I worked in the fast-paced world of creative and entertainment industries, giving me first-hand insight into the intense pressures people face, from the thrill of being ‘in flow’ to the realities of imposter syndrome, gaslighting, discrimination and bullying. These challenges can leave people feeling overwhelmed, stuck or burned out, and can seem like an inevitable part of modern life. You are not alone, and it is always okay to seek support.
Alongside my practice, I am a mental health advocate, serving as a Trustee for Music Support, a charity focused on mental health and addiction, and as an Ambassador for Backup Tech, championing the well-being of behind-the-scenes professionals.
I lead a non-profit that provides community and peer support and collaborate with organisations including the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM), Production Services Association (PSA), University of Westminster and BIMM Institute, to promote mental health and wellbeing in performance settings.
I offer a free, no obligation 20-minute ‘chemistry’ Zoom call to explore whether working together feels like a good fit. Sessions can be online, in person, or a hybrid to suit your schedule and preference. I work flexibly without a fixed term, for support with specific issues or for deeper, long-term exploration.
