Yvonne Siegel Integrative Psychotherapist and Coach London E8Yvonne Siegel:

Integrative Psychotherapist & Coach (BACP)

My name is Yvonne Siegel, I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist, NLP Practitioner and Life Coach currently working at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston.

I have a direct, clear and robust approach, bringing honesty and passion into my work to help clients seek their truth. I hold clients within a non-judgemental, compassionate and containing space to bring light and clarity to your journey of transformation.

Seeking therapy:
Therapy gives you a reflective space to understand yourself better.

There are various reasons why you may wish to find a therapist – it could be due to holding uncomfortable feelings, wanting to improve the relationship with yourself and those around you, or you might be aware that there are past experiences and triggers which need your attention.

Therapy is about bringing what is concerning you. I support my clients to understand the root of the symptoms from underlying issues and traumas, working on how to hold and manage pain differently and build a more content and complete relationship with themselves.

Our sessions will have an unfolding process and as an integrative psychotherapist, I work holistically with a range of therapy approaches tailored to meet your emotional needs.

Underpinning my work with the principles of psychodynamic, existential, and humanistic therapeutic approaches, I also work creatively with visualisations, dreamwork, symbols and archetypal imagery to explore the unconscious more deeply.

My training has encompassed exploring wider spiritual aspects, and alongside, honouring Eastern and Western religious beliefs, we can explore what spirituality means for you in a context of searching for meaning and purpose in life, spiritual ecology, finding a sense of belonging and interconnectedness with a greater whole – known as transpersonal psychology.

Therapeutic Coaching:
Coaching works well alongside therapy if you are looking for a structured, forward-thinking approach in your personal transformational journey, integrating emotional depth with forward momentum. Sessions are directed with NLP and therapeutic coaching principles which help clients translate emotional understanding into action, in areas such as:

Evaluating ‘success’ which is not externally validated

Stepping outside your comfort zone, holding uncomfortable feelings of change whilst pursuing a career change, a new relationship or personal projects

Creating healthy habits and nurturing your physical body

Finding time for joy, playfulness, creative and leisure activities

Living with integrity and respect for your choices that are aligned to your strengths, qualities, and values.

About me:
I started my career working in the media, quango, non-profit and youth sectors.

Since 2007, I have been working therapeutically in the mental health field with clients from a diverse range of ages and backgrounds.

Coming from an international and migratory background, I have developed a keen interest in working with cultural issues of identity and belonging, displacement, isolation, and intersectional differences.

I am experienced in working with family dynamics, enmeshment, co-dependency, inner child work and transgenerational trauma, especially for those clients who are from a multicultural background and feel ‘othered’ by society.

Fees:
I am bilingual in German and English.

Fees are between £75£85 per 50-minute session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Should I Seek Therapy?

Many people, new to this type of help, believe that they need to be suffering from “mental illness” or serious “psychological problems”, or be in crisis in order for therapy and counselling to be appropriate for them. This is a common misconception; anyone can benefit from therapy when it comes to helping you deal with your personal feelings and problems, make positive changes in your life, and understand yourself better.

So what is therapy and counselling? If you’re new to this world then the first steps can sometimes be the most difficult. Therapy can be a very effective treatment for a whole range of personal problems covering areas from physical and emotional problems, different types of behavioural disorders, through to human sexuality issues and a host of wellbeing and complementary therapy techniques.

Any problem you have that is causing you concern, anxiety or distress is a valid and appropriate reason to reach out and find a therapist and talk to them about it. Far from something to be ashamed of, acknowledging your vulnerability and asking for help is a sign of maturity and strength.

If you feel that you have a desire and are committed to making changes in your life in order to overcome your current problems and achieve more long-term satisfaction, psychological wellbeing and personal fulfilment, then you are ready to seek therapy. We are here to help you work through a wide range of therapy issues that might be troubling you.

Will Information About Me Be Safe & Secure?

It is quite normal to be hesitant when it comes to sharing private and intimate information about yourself with a stranger. You may fear that you will receive judgment from your therapist, or that your therapist will share your details with others.

HQ Therapy Rooms takes your privacy and confidentiality very seriously. Our therapists are required to keep everything said in therapy sessions between you, just like your doctor is required to keep your records private.

For therapy to be effective, there must be unconditional trust built between you and your therapist, and this relies on a shared understanding of confidentiality. It applies to the outside world as well: it is standard practice for therapists not to acknowledge their clients if they run into them outside of the therapy rooms in order to help protect their client’s confidentiality. Read our full privacy policy for more information.
